Title: Efficacy of one week aligner change in treatment of difficult and complex orthodontic cases: Biomechanics and case management

Abstract:

Innovations in Invisalign clear aligner material and design, including SmartTrack® aligner material and SmartTrack® Features, have helped to introduce changing Invisalign® aligners weekly without slowing down the programmed velocity of tooth movement. Weekly aligner changes may reduce treatment time and increase orthodontic practice efficiency. Dr Tarek El-Bialy going to share his experiences treating Class II malocclusions in growing teenagers with Invisalign® clear aligners changed on a weekly basis.

Since 2011*, over 900,000 patients with complex malocclusions, including Class II, open bite, premolar extraction, and deep bite have been treated with Invisalign clear aligners. Advancements such as SmartTrack material and SmartForce features are clinically proven overall tooth movement predictability.
